I’m happy with this phone. It replaced an old, static-y cordless phone that was out-dated so we got just one phone for our small home and we did NOT want the answering machine. This phone fit the bill. I’m happy with it. the menu is a little awkward to maneuver sometimes but I don’t need to read the instruction manual or anything; it’s just awkward sometimes. What make me sitting on the fence about this phone over is that sometimes there is a loud echo/hollow sound to my voice when I’m talking in the phone. Trust me, it’s the phone, not me. It doesn’t happen all the time. What I am happy about is that there is no longer any static. And I really like the silent-mode feature. you can choose what time the phone will enter/exit silent mode & not ring. My old phone did not have that feature and I’m impressed with the degree of control I have over when my phone rings in my room. We’ll be hanging on to this for as long as it lasts or until we get a bigger home, whichever comes first.
