The DPF-D72 DPF is another entry-level model from Sony. The less expensive D72 and DPF-A72 both stocks a 7-inch screen, but the D72 is equipped with an additional polish as a panel of glass that protects the LCD screen. In addition, the D72 has an internal memory of 1 GB for storing images, while the A72 has only 128 MB for the same purpose. The D72 supports CF cards, while the A72 is not.
Perhaps it is what the D72, in addition to favorable DPF-A72 is the quality of the display. A 800×480Pixels, the density of pixels of the LCD display extremely high, well-lit appearance in front of your eyes. The image processor and liquid crystal display (LCD Clear Photo) also make true colors to ensure that the images make the frame as well, what they do on screen. Unlike the D72, you have to look at the LCD screen of the A72 by the saturation of the region green and yellow and images displayed somewehat pixilated screen with lower resolution(480×234).
The D72 will cost significantly more than the A72, which probably explains the difference in the quality of LCD panels. However, as the A72, the D72 is without a USB cable, which is odd given the price of the frame. Although not strictly necessary, the USB cable provides a simple and direct management of images in memory of the frames, so you must copy the files to a memory card and feed the memory of the frame through the built-in card reader.
The device comes with a handy remote control that works on a single lithium-ion battery, so you can control how the slide-show and no access to control buttons on the back of the frame.
